Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  • Add mashed bananas, milk, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Stir until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring just until the batter is moistened. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
